Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate witnessed a slight increase in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil on Monday, as the local stock exchanges opened. The rates climbed with the opening of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges, registering 141,300 dinars per $100, compared to 141,250 dinars per $100 recorded the previous day.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selling prices on local stock exchanges in Baghdad rose, with the selling price reaching 142,250 dinars per $100. The buying price also saw an increase, reaching 141,000 dinars per $100.
In the Erbil markets, the dollar experienced a similar trend, with the selling price increasing to 142,300 dinars per $100. The buying price in Erbil also rose, reaching 141,100 dinars per $100.
