The city of Najaf and its affiliated districts, in particular Kufa district, are witnessing a remarkable increase in theft and armed robbery operations since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan.

Community sources pointed to the occurrence of many armed robberies and acts of theft that affected commercial centers, popular cafes, shops, restaurants, cars and motorcycles in Najaf and Kufa.

For its part, the Najaf Police Command emphasized its tireless and daily endeavors to maintain the security of the province through its campaigns to arrest those involved in theft operations and work to reduce them through fixed and mobile patrols.
