Ankara: South Korean President Lee Jae-myung arrived in Ankara today on an official visit at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Burhanettin Duran, Head of Communications at the Turkish Presidency, announced on the “X” platform that the visit, from a strategic partner, is an opportunity to strengthen the strong ties and friendship that have bound the two countries since the Korean War.

Talks are scheduled to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, during which bilateral relations will be reviewed in all their aspects, and ways to develop cooperation in the fields of energy, defense industries, transportation, infrastructure, high technology, culture, and tourism will be discussed.

The visit will also include an exchange of views on current regional and international issues, in addition to the signing of several agreements that will contribute to strengthening the legal framework for cooperation between the two sides.
