Baghdad: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Haibat Al-Halbousi, met with Minister of Electricity Ali Saadi Waheeb to discuss the challenges facing the country's electricity sector.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement issued by the Speaker's Media Office indicated that Al-Halbousi received the Minister of Electricity on Monday. The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Najaf Provincial Council and the Governor of Najaf, focused on reviewing a number of issues and challenges affecting the energy sector.

The statement further elaborated that the Speaker had been briefed on these concerns during his visit to Najaf Governorate. He emphasized the importance of coordinating with the relevant authorities to devise urgent and effective solutions.
