Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi affirmed his full support for strengthening the capabilities of the security and military forces and developing their performance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker's media office issued a press release detailing al-Halbousi's visit to the Joint Operations Command headquarters. During this visit, he met with the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Khalaf al-Muhammadawi, along with several other officers. The Speaker was briefed on the overall security situation in Iraq, considering the ongoing military operations in the region.

The statement emphasized al-Halbousi's call for enhanced coordination among all security and military institutions to consolidate Iraq's security and stability and protect its interests. Reiterating his commitment, he stressed his complete support for improving the capacities and performance of the security and military forces.
