Baghdad: The Speaker of the Council of the Parliament, Haibet Alhalbousi, received a delegation comprising professors, academics, and intellectuals from Diyala Governorate on Wednesday. The meeting focused on discussing several critical issues impacting the governorate.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered around the pressing security and service delivery situations in Diyala Governorate. Additionally, the meeting addressed concerns related to displaced persons from the governorate and explored potential solutions to these challenges.

The Media Office of the Speaker of the Parliament noted that the Speaker attentively listened to the delegation’s demands. He directed that these concerns be followed up with the relevant authorities, emphasizing the importance of working towards fulfilling the delegation’s requests.
