Baghdad, The Prime Minister’s Office announced: The start of work on the plan to open roads and tunnels in the Green Zone, as of 5 am tomorrow, Sunday.
It stated in a statement: The opening of the green zone will be daily from 5 am to 7 pm, and it will be limited to small cars, and entry of loading vehicles will not be allowed.
It added: The opening of the Green Zone came in response to the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad al-Sudani, to reduce crowds in Baghdad.
