Baghdad: The State of Law Coalition has reiterated its support for the state's exclusive control over weapons, emphasizing the importance of maintaining civil peace in Iraq. Hisham al-Rikabi, the Director of the Media Office of the coalition, affirmed the coalition's clear and unwavering position on this issue, which aligns with the constitution and the law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Rikabi elaborated on this stance in a post on the social media platform X, highlighting that while the coalition backs the state's monopoly on weapons, it is crucial to implement this in a manner that averts internal conflict and bloodshed in Iraq. He stressed that the establishment of state authority should not involve escalation but should be pursued through dialogue, legal measures, and national consensus, ensuring the preservation of the sacrifices made by the Iraqi people.
