Baghdad: A strange object exploded under a civilian vehicle in the bustling Karrada/Industrial Street area, prompting an investigation by local authorities. The Ministry of Interior confirmed the incident and reported that the explosion resulted in material damage to the vehicle, but thankfully, no injuries were sustained.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior released a statement detailing the sequence of events. After receiving reports of the explosion, patrol units were dispatched to the scene. They discovered that the strange object had detonated under a parked Jeep (Laredo) owned by a local resident.

Further investigation revealed that two individuals on a motorcycle approached the Jeep, strategically placed the object beneath it, and then swiftly left the scene. In response to the incident, a specialized team has been organized under the guidance of the Baghdad Rusafa Police Chief, tasked with investigating the explosion and capturing the perpetrators.
