Supreme Judicial Council Head Meets National Security Service Leader to Discuss Investigative Cases


Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, met with the new head of the National Security Service, Basim al-Badri, to discuss investigative cases that fall within the jurisdiction of the Service.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Supreme Judicial Council’s media office indicated that Zaidan received al-Badri on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Council President congratulated al-Badri on assuming his new role and deliberated on the coordination between the judiciary and the National Security Service concerning investigative matters under the Service’s authority.
