Al-khalis: A suspect was arrested for stealing agricultural equipment in the Al-Khalis district of Diyala. The arrest was conducted by a joint security force comprising members from the Diyala Police and the Criminal Investigation Directorate. The suspect was accused of stealing various agricultural materials and equipment from the area, which is located north of Baquba, the provincial capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed that the suspect confessed to committing four thefts during the initial investigations. These thefts involved the stealing of equipment and parts used for vehicle repair, as well as other agricultural materials and items from a local shop in the Al-Khalis district. Legal actions were taken against the suspect under Article (446) of the Penal Code, aiming to address the string of thefts in the region.
