Basra: A suspect has been arrested by Basra police for allegedly breaking car windows and stealing in the Al-Jam’iyyat area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Police Command reported that detachments from Al-Hussein Police Station, with assistance from the Third Basra Emergency Regiment, captured the suspect in the Internal Security area. The individual is accused of breaking the windows of several vehicles near the Tax Department in Al-Jam’iyyat area and stealing their contents. During the arrest, the suspect was found in possession of a pistol.
