Umm Qasr: The Border Ports Authority announced the implementation of a judicial order against a suspect wanted by the judiciary at the northern Umm Qasr port.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, detachments from the Umm Qasr Northern Port Directorate arrested a suspect accused of attempting to smuggle various medicines, vitamins, motor oils, and other miscellaneous materials. An arrest warrant was issued against him by the Umm Qasr Investigation Court in accordance with the provisions of Article 194 of the Customs Law.

The Authority further reported that the suspect was referred and handed over to the requesting authority to take the necessary legal action against him.
