Baqubah:Diyala A joint security force has arrested a suspect wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law and another individual involved in multiple motorcycle thefts in the Diyala region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint team comprising Diyala police, provincial intelligence, and counter-terrorism units apprehended a suspect in the Dar al-Salam sub-district, north of Baqubah. The arrest was grounded on precise intelligence and field surveillance. Legal proceedings are underway as the suspect has been referred to the competent authorities.

Additionally, another joint force detained a suspect accused of eight motorcycle thefts in the Buhriz sub-district, south of Baqubah. This arrest followed extensive intelligence gathering and analysis, which included reviewing video footage and photographs. The operation received official authorization to proceed with the arrest warrant, and legal measures are being pursued against the suspect. Efforts continue to locate and prosecute the remaining accomplices.
