Quneitra: The Syrian Interior Ministry announced on Sunday that internal security forces, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate, arrested a nine-member ISIS cell in Khan Arnabeh, Quneitra. The ministry added that the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to pursue ISIS members and cut off their supply lines.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation resulted in the arrest of the cell's leader, Musab Khalil al-Sheikh, nicknamed "al-Sini" (the Chinese). The ministry stated that the cell leader was active within the terrorist organization in Damascus, its countryside, the Badia region, and the villages of Hauran. He worked within a group affiliated with Abu Abdul Rahman al-Iraqi, the organization's leader at the time, before he was killed in Daraa in 2022.

The Syrian Interior Ministry reported that initial investigations revealed the cell was carrying out tasks for ISIS, including collecting weapons, transporting explosive devices and related equipment, and other activities aimed at supporting the terrorist organization's movements.
