Syria: The Syrian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned an Israeli drone attack that targeted a car in the town of Beit Jinn, located in the Damascus countryside. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syrian Foreign Ministry released a statement on its “X” platform, holding Israel fully responsible for the attack. The ministry asserted that such actions by Israel undermine regional stability and called upon the international community and the Security Council to take decisive action to end repeated Israeli violations. The statement urged these bodies to uphold their legal and political responsibilities.

In response, the Israeli army issued a statement claiming responsibility for the strike. The statement alleged that Israeli forces targeted a “terrorist in southern Syria” who was in the advanced stages of preparing attacks against Israeli forces.
