Baghdad: The Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport announced that air traffic between Syria and Iraq is operating regularly and continuously, with almost daily flights. This confirmation comes as Damascus International Airport ensures its readiness to provide all necessary facilities for Iraqi travelers.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Mustafa Khairallah, the head of the Authority's Media Department, stated, "We welcome our Iraqi brothers to their second home, Syria. There are regular and continuous flights connecting the two brotherly countries." He emphasized the active air traffic at Damascus International Airport, highlighting the frequent flights linking Damascus with Baghdad and regular flights between Damascus and Erbil.
Khairallah further noted that the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport is committed to delivering the necessary logistical services and facilities for travelers. This effort aims to ensure the smooth and comfortable flow of flights between Syria and Iraq, reflecting the close ties between the two nations.
