Syrian Defense Ministry: Damascus Attacked by Two Rockets

Damascus: The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that Damascus was attacked by two Katyusha rockets launched from the outskirts of the capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syrian Ministry of Defense's Media and Communication Department stated in a press release that "the capital, Damascus, was subjected to a treacherous attack involving two Katyusha rockets launched from the city's outskirts towards residential neighborhoods in the Mezzeh area and its surroundings, resulting in injuries to a number of civilians and causing material damage."

The statement added that "the Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, has launched an investigation into the circumstances of this attack."
