Damascus: The Syrian Ministry of Health has reported a substantial number of casualties resulting from recent events in the Sweida Governorate, with 260 individuals confirmed dead and 1,698 others injured.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry further detailed that among the injured, 425 cases are considered critical. The announcement underscores the severity of the situation in Sweida, highlighting the urgent need for medical attention and resources to address the aftermath of the events.
