Quneitra: An Israeli drone targeted an internal security headquarters in the city of Al-Salam in the Quneitra countryside, resulting in material damage but no information about human losses.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the attack coincides with intensive flights by Israeli reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the Syrian Quneitra Governorate. This has led to cautious anticipation among residents regarding the possibility of repeated attacks.

The Observatory also noted that Israeli forces had infiltrated the southern Quneitra countryside. Five military vehicles loaded with soldiers entered from the “Tal Ahmar Gharbi” base and headed towards the Al-Rafid-Al-Asha road, where they set up a checkpoint. Another force, consisting of five four-wheel-drive military vehicles, entered the town of Ruwaihinah in the central Quneitra countryside, establishing a temporary checkpoint. This action involved searching pedestrians and vehicles, sparking concern and discontent among residents due to fears of a recurrence of such movements in the area.

On August 6, the Quneitra countryside witnessed a deployment of Israeli forces in the area between Tal al-Ahmar al-Gharbi and Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi. Israeli forces reportedly blocked the road between the towns of Kudna and al-Asbah, restricting movement in the area.
