Baghdad: The situation remains tense around the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran. The head of Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Alexei Likhachev, announced on Monday that the situation around Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant remains tense, but no strikes have been recorded at the facility or construction site.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Likhachev explained that construction work on additional units at Bushehr has stopped, but more than 600 workers remain on site to maintain equipment and continue essential work.
