Diyala: The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of a terrorist element in Diyala Governorate. The arrest is a result of diligent field monitoring and intelligence efforts by the Diyala Intelligence and Security Directorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate’s detachments successfully detained the individual, who was wanted by the judiciary under the provisions of Article 1/4 of the Terrorism Law. Legal measures have been taken against the suspect, and he has been referred to the judiciary for further proceedings.
