Basra: The Al Sadd SC delegation from Qatar arrived in Basra to face Esteghlal FC of Iran. The Qatari delegation was received by Dr. Aqeel Al-Fariji, head of the security committee in the Basra Provincial Council, and Bader Nasser, head of the Basra branch of the Iraqi Football Association.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al Sadd SC will play Esteghlal FC tomorrow, Monday, at the Basra Sports City Stadium, as part of the AFC Champions League group stage. The Esteghlal FC team arrived in Basra yesterday, as did the Omani refereeing team to officiate the match.
