Beirut: The Arab League has declared its unwavering commitment to assist Lebanon through its various challenges, aiming to bolster the country's sovereignty and enhance civil peace. This support is intended to pave the way for Lebanon's recovery, development, and prosperity.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, this affirmation was made during a meeting between Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, and Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun. The discussions focused on the outcomes of the recent Arab Summit in Baghdad, with particular emphasis on the decision to create an Arab Fund dedicated to aiding recovery and reconstruction efforts in the aftermath of crises.
