Kirkuk The Arab Council in Kirkuk demanded that the Kirkuk file not be involved in the bargains to form the government… and confined its security, administrative and political file to the hands of the federal government and refused the participation of any other forces in the security file of the province.

It said in a statement, “Today, we are going through the fifth anniversary of the blessed law enforcement operations on October 16, 2017, these operations that imposed the authority, prestige and law of the Iraqi state in the Kirkuk governorate and cleared our land from the abomination, power and injustice of the terrorist organization ISIS, and ended a long era of injustice, and the killing, the unidentified bodies, the kidnapping, the arrest, the disappearance and the theft of our sons, and the displacement, demolition and bulldozing operations of our villages and our homes ended.

It stressed that this day in the year 2017 is a day of freedom, security and stability for us and a new beginning for the people of Kirkuk governorate, based on bloodshed and the consolidation of peaceful coexistence among all, and the launch of the process of life and work and the great continuous achievements to serve the citizen that has been witnessed by far and near for five years, and the last achievement is Kirkuk International Airport, whose opening coincided with this blessed anniversary today.

The Arab Council made it clear that we in the Arab Council in Kirkuk renew our adherence to brotherhood, peaceful coexistence and joint cooperation with all components to preserve the privacy of our governorate, which enjoys today thanks to its wise management and the efforts of our security forces and the cooperation of its people in security, stability, reconstruction and construction.
