Baghdad The Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers directed all civil society organizations, especially those in Basra Governorate, to harness the available capabilities to organize the work of its field and volunteer teams to support the 25th Gulf Championship, which will start early next year 2023.

It also directed, in a statement, to contribute with all agencies and ministries for the success of this important sporting event, which will confirm Iraq’s ability to host tournaments and sporting events, and will be a step towards achieving ambition towards hosting other international tournaments.
