Baghdad: The Civil Defense Directorate announced today that it had controlled a fire that broke out this afternoon in a commercial building in the Al-Bayaa area in the capital, Baghdad.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Directorate detailed that with the participation of 10 fire brigades, full control was achieved over a fire that erupted inside a multi-storey commercial building. This building was used as a warehouse for oils and tires and contained shops selling spare parts in the Al-Bayaa area.
The Directorate further noted that no human losses were recorded in the incident.
