Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired the 31st regular session of the Council of Ministers, where the general situation in the country was discussed, and several decisions were made concerning economic and service issues on the agenda.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Office released a statement indicating that the session was advanced to Sunday, August 10, from its originally scheduled date of Tuesday, August 12. This change is intended to enable ministries to enhance their service efforts in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions. The decision aims to ensure that visitors receive optimal services, contributing to the success of the pilgrimage.
