Baghdad: The Council of Ministers has given its approval to the draft law for the first amendment to the Sunni Endowment Law (56 of 2012). This draft, which has been reviewed by the State Council, is now set to be referred to the House of Representatives for further consideration.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Council of Ministers also approved the draft for the Electronic Commerce Regulation System in Iraq during its session today. Additionally, the Council is preparing a draft law that will stipulate the linkage of the Insurance Bureau’s operations to the Central Bank of Iraq.
