Salah al-din: The Counter-Terrorism Service conducted extensive security operations in Salah al-Din Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the service stated in a statement that under the direct and field supervision of the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Karim al-Tamimi, the service's forces, in coordination and cooperation with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, the Iraqi National Security Service, the First Special Forces Division, and the Sulaymaniyah Counter-Terrorism Regiment, carried out a series of operations to reconnoiter, set up ambushes, and search ISIS terrorist gang hideouts in Salah al-Din Governorate, specifically in the Hamrin Mountains, Wadi al-Shai.

These operations included the execution of 40 airstrikes, the search and destruction of 49 hideouts and caves, and the detonation of a car bomb that was prepared for detonation. Additionally, 40 mortar shells, 80 rocket launchers, 8 explosive devices, and a quantity of explosive materials were eliminated during the operations.
