Baghdad / NINA /- Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, arrived in Germany to participate in the Berlin Economic Forum.

A statement by his media office stated that Abdullah arrived in Germany to participate in the Berlin Economic Forum (Sustainable Business and Responsible Investments), in response to the invitation extended to the presidency of Parliament from the Academy of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin.

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament said that the forum is a global project that started in 2014 and will continue until 2024, in partnership with global governance organizations, national governments, leading academic institutions and multinational companies, indicating that it will hold a series of official meetings with senior officials in the German government to strengthen bilateral relations and expanding horizons of joint cooperation between Iraq and Germany./ End
