The Dollar Increases as Baghdad Stock Exchange Closes


Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar rose in Baghdad’s markets as the exchanges closed on Saturday evening. The dollar saw an increase in Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 145,000 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, compared to 144,500 dinars earlier in the day.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selling price at currency exchange shops in Baghdad’s local markets also rose, reaching 145,500 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the buying price was 144,500 dinars. In Erbil, the dollar also rose, with the selling price reaching 143,850 dinars per 100 US dollars and the buying price 143,750 dinars.
