Baghdad: The Independent High Electoral Commission has disclosed the arrangements for special voting centers designated for military personnel and internally displaced persons (IDPs). This announcement comes ahead of the scheduled voting process set to commence tomorrow.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official Spokesperson for the Electoral Commission, Jumana Zuhair, revealed that the special voting for military personnel will begin on November 9, 2025, at 7:00 AM and will continue until 6:00 PM. The number of eligible military voters stands at 1,313,980, with 809 polling centers and 4,501 polling stations established to accommodate them.
In addition, Zuhair mentioned the arrangements for the special voting of IDPs, also starting tomorrow. The eligible IDP voters number 26,538, who will be able to vote at 27 polling centers encompassing 97 polling stations.
