Baghdad: Field Intelligence and Security personnel distributed awareness leaflets and posters to pilgrims commemorating the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), whether on foot or by vehicles, heading to the holy city of Karbala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate explained in a statement: “The leaflets included guidelines clarifying legal means of cooperation between citizens and security forces, contributing to the protection of pilgrims and ensuring the safety and security of the pilgrimage.”

It added: “The Directorate included in its leaflets a toll-free number designated for reporting any suspicious incidents that may be observed during the pilgrimage.”
