The Head Of The Political Body Of Sadrist Movement Receives The French Ambassador

Baghdad The head of the political body of the Sadrist movement, Ahmed Al-Mutairi, confirmed that the Iraqi people are looking for a government that meets their aspirations to live away from quotas, corruption and foreign interference.

The political body of the movement stated in a statement: “Al-Mutairi met in the presence of his deputy Nassar al-Rubaie, the French ambassador to Iraq Eric Chevalier and his accompanying political advisor Remy Darwan.”

The statement indicated that the head of the political body of the Sadrist movement reviewed the nature of the strong relationship between the two friendly countries at various levels, specifically with regard to the exchange of official visits between the leaders of the two sides.

Sheikh Al-Mutairi touched on the importance of the next political stage for the Iraqi people, as they look forward to a government that meets the aspirations to live well and a free and dignified life away from quotas, corruption and foreign interference.

For his part, the French ambassador expressed his happiness for visiting the political body of the Sadrist movement and meeting its head, indicating that his country is looking forward to more cooperation and bilateral understanding between the two countries in all fields.
