Diyala: The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency has dismantled a gang trafficking in electoral cards in Diyala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the agency stated in a statement that its units specialized in combating organized crime in Diyala Governorate were able to dismantle a gang of four suspects, and seized in their possession a number of electoral cards.

It explained that, upon investigation, they explicitly confessed to deceiving citizens and seizing their electoral cards for the purpose of trafficking.
