Baghdad: The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate’s 23rd electoral conference began this morning at the syndicate’s headquarters. The event is set to elect the syndicate’s president, vice presidents, members of the syndicate council, and the oversight and disciplinary committees. It is held under the slogan “Iraqi Journalists… Freedom and Inspiration for Building.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the opening of the conference was attended by delegations from the International Federation of Journalists and the Federation of Arab Journalists. The event also saw the presence of high-level Arab and international journalists, highlighting the significance of the conference in the journalistic community.
