Baghdad / – The Iraqi Red Crescent Association announced the direct preparation of 32 tons of food supplies in cooperation with the Iraqi government to be sent by air to Palestine.
The Association said in a statement: “The Iraqi Red Crescent has prepared a batch of food aid amounting to 32 tons in order to be sent by air via Iraqi aircraft to the Palestinian people.”
It added, “This campaign is being conducted under the title (Iraqi support for Al-Aqsa).”
It explained that as a result of the bloody events taking place in Gaza and in response to the relief appeal submitted by the Palestinian Red Crescent, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society decided to provide financial and in-kind donations to the Palestinian Red Crescent to help the brotherly Palestinian people.
