Beirut: The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has announced that it launched rocket barrages targeting Kiryat Shmona and the Ze'ev Airbase in Haifa.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Resistance issued a statement explaining that the attacks were in response to the Israeli aggression that had impacted numerous Lebanese cities, towns, and the southern suburbs of Beirut. The statement detailed that Kiryat Shmona was targeted at 11:30 AM on Monday, March 9, 2026, as a warning issued by the Islamic Resistance to the city in northern occupied Palestine.
In a separate statement, the Resistance confirmed the targeting of the Ze'ev Air Defense Base in the occupied city of Haifa. This attack occurred at 12:15 PM on the same day and was also described as a response to the Israeli actions against Lebanese areas.
