The Israeli army announces the killing of 3 soldiers and the wounding of three others in a bombing that targeted a military base near Karam Abu Salem

The Israeli army announced late last night that 3 Israeli soldiers were killed in a bombing that targeted a military base near Karam Abu Salem.

The army also announced that 3 soldiers were seriously injured in the bombing that targeted Karam Abu Salem area.

Israeli Army Radio reported that the soldiers killed in the bombing were Sergeant Reuven Assouline, Sergeant Ido Testa, and Sergeant Tal Shavit.

Earlier last night, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, claimed responsibility for bombing Karam Abu Salem military site with rockets.

“Al-Qassam” showed a video clip showing intense rocket barrages at “Karam Abu Salem” military site east of the city of Rafah.

The Israeli media described the attack as dangerous, as the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said: ‘The event in Karam Abu Salem is unusual after months of violent fighting in the Gaza Strip, and helicopters and planes were called to the area of the incident to evacuate the injured.’
