The Israeli army storms the city of Jericho

Baghdad, The Israeli army stormed this morning, Saturday, the city of Jericho, east of the West Bank, amid clashes with dozens of Palestinian youths who went out to confront the incursion.

Palestinian medical sources reported that “3 Palestinians were wounded by bullets during the raid,” and their injuries were described as moderate, and they were taken to the city hospital.

A local source said, “The occupation forces stationed at the entrance to Aqabat Jabr camp, south of Jericho, and fired tear gas and sound bombs, after renewing their raid into the city.”

The source added, “the occupation forces stormed Al-Maqayta neighborhood in the camp and surrounded a house, amid hearing armed clashes taking place in the vicinity of the house.”

The Israeli army intensified its military measures against the city of Jericho a week ago, and set up checkpoints at all exits of the city as part of the search for the perpetrator of an armed attack at a restaurant near “Al-Mog” settlement, south of Jericho, without any casualties.
