Baghdad President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received a congratulatory message from His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic.
In his congratulatory message, Charles III said: “On the occasion of your election as President of the Republic of Iraq, I send you my warmest congratulations. The close relations between our two countries continue to be of paramount importance to the United Kingdom.”
He added, “I look forward to continuing to strengthen the friendly relations of friendship, and to support the strong partnership that exists between our two countries, wishing your Excellency and the Iraqi people the best wishes.”
