Baghdad The Popular Mobilization Authority announced the launch of a security operation south of Samarra.
The Authority said in a statement that “a security force, with the participation of the 41st Brigade in the Popular Mobilization, carried out a search and sweep operation in the Shehabi area of Yathrib district, south of Samarra.”
It added, “The operation came with the aim of sustaining the operational and security effort to maintain security and stability, which is categorically responsible.”
