Kirkuk: Military Intelligence arrested the official in charge of distributing ISIS bail in Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Military Intelligence Directorate stated that the arrest was made possible by accurate intelligence information and continuous monitoring by the Military Intelligence detachments of the 8th Division. They collaborated with a force from the Kirkuk Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Department to set up a tight ambush in the Shwan district of Kirkuk Governorate. The operation resulted in the arrest of the terrorist wanted under Article 1/4 of the Terrorism Law, who was responsible for distributing bail to ISIS members in Hawija.

The statement further detailed the seizure of sums of money and forged documents that the suspect was carrying while distributing the bail. These documents were handed over to the requesting party following the arrest.
