The Minister of Immigration discusses with the Chinese ambassador cooperation in the field of supporting the displaced

Baghdad The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Iraq, Cui Wei.

The Ministry of Immigration said in a statement, “The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries regarding the ministry’s categories of care.”

The Minister welcomed the Iraqi-Chinese cooperation, especially the economic agreement, and the recent provision of a grant from the People’s Republic of China to benefit from it in preparing the remaining camps for the displaced in the country.

The Chinese ambassador stressed the importance of Iraq in the region and the world, and Beijing’s keenness to develop economic, social and political relations with Baghdad.
