Rabat: Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi discussed with the Minister of Economic Integration, Small Business, Employment, and Skills of the Kingdom of Morocco, Younes Sekkouri, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, during his official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, which lasted from July 15 to 16.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Asadi stressed the importance of moving towards signing a memorandum of understanding between Iraq and the Kingdom of Morocco in the field of skilled labor recruitment, which would contribute to opening broader horizons for cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations in various fields related to the work of the two ministries.
He stressed the importance of facilitating the procedures for granting entry visas to Iraqis wishing to visit Morocco, noting that this request enjoys widespread popular interest.
For his part, the Moroccan Minister welcomed the visit of the Iraqi delegation, praising the strong relations between the two countries and the development witnessed by Iraq in the economic and trade fields. He also affirmed his ministry's readiness to sign a joint memorandum of understanding with the Iraqi side, which includes the exchange of expertise, specialized programs, and sectoral cooperation between the two ministries.
