Baghdad The Ministry of Environment stressed the importance of raising awareness and educating the use of environmentally friendly vehicles with renewable energy.

A ministry statement said: “The authorized person in the Ministry of Environment, Dr. Jassem Al-Falahi, received a delegation from Toyota. During the meeting, they discussed how to provide environment-friendly Toyota vehicles with high specifications.”

Al-Falahi said: “The issues related to the establishment of electric pumping stations for these vehicles were discussed, and the cadres of the Ministry of Environment and higher administrations will be the first to use these vehicles for the purpose of spreading the culture of using vehicles using clean energy in Iraq. This will be a pioneering and preliminary experiment, to be followed by large experiments of international companies in the production of electric cars
