The Ministry of Immigration Announces The Voluntary Return Of (57) Iraqis From Turkey

Baghdad  The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced the return of (57) Iraqi citizens from the Republic of Turkey to the homeland, as part of the ministry’s plan to encourage Iraqis in neighboring countries to return voluntarily.

In a statement, the ministry stated that, through coordination with the Ministry of Transport, the ministry’s office in Ankara returned (57) Iraqi citizens from the Turkish Republic to the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar.

The ministry added that “the citizens were returned by land and through the Ibrahim Al-Khalil port of Zakho district in Dohuk governorate, after completing their entry procedures into the country.”

Over the past days, groups of Iraqis in Turkey have returned, the last of which was a group of (42) returnees to their areas of origin in the country
