The Municipality of Baghdad Mobilizes Its Effort To Clean The Celebration Square And The Surrounding Streets After The End Of The Friday Prayer

Baghdad The Municipality of Baghdad announced the mobilization of its municipal effort to clean the Celebration Square and the surrounding streets and restore them to what they were after the end of the Friday prayer, which was held today with a large public participation.

A statement by the Municipality of Baghdad stated that “the municipal departments (the Green Zone, Airport Road, Al-Rusafa Center, Al-Karkh Center), along with a supportive effort from the rest of the municipal departments, began immediately after the end of the Friday prayers to implement a major exceptional campaign to clean the celebration square and other nearby sites and restore them to what they were.”

It added, “The municipal departments have put a large number of their human cadres and specialized vehicles to remove large quantities of waste from the celebration square, and then wash and clean the surrounding streets.”
