The national football team delegation arrives at Baghdad airport before heading to Doha

Baghdad  The delegation of the national football team arrived at Baghdad airport, via an Iraqi Airways plane, after a long and arduous 14-hour flight from South Korea.

The team’s delegation was received at Baghdad International Airport by Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal, Chairman of the Parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee MP Abbas Aliwi, Head of the Normalization Committee Iyad Bunyan and Secretary General of the Normal Committee Muhammad Farhan.

The delegation will leave today, Friday, for the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for facing Iran next Tuesday, in the first group matches of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
